Communicating With MashCast

Once you have Friend or have created a Group, you're ready to begin personal broadcasting.

To start a conversation with a Friend or Group, open the Messenger Network List and then double-clicking on your Friend or Group buddy icon from the Network List). Your Friend or Group Conversation tab should appear active in the Communicate window.

            

You will see an embedded media player here with several buttons on it for getting media into and out of the player.

You can load media into the player either by capturing media, double clicking on an asset in the Media Search system or opening a file on your desktop. Once you have media you want to send to the group, simply click on the Send button. The sent media entry will appear in the conversation history below the player, and will show up in the corresponding friend or group player of each of your online friends or group members.

You can also communicate intercom-style with your friend and group by using the Push-to-talk button on the text messenger input area at the bottom of your conversation window. Text and Voice messages appear in the conversation history also so you can refer to them later.
