Silly Walks for Hunger
Mashcast.com - The Jon Lovitz Comedy Club & Rich and Tone Productions produced an unprecedented LIVE Event/Fundraiser & Flashmob - SillyWalksforHunger! In honor of Monty Python's 40th Anniversary the goal is to raise awareness and dollars to fight hunger and to serve one MILLION meals this holiday season to those in need. If you weren't there, you missed one of the most amazing events I have personally ever witnessed. The entire expanse of Universal City Walk Hollywood was transformed by dancers - of all ages, sizes, shapes and ethnicities - in a FlashMob spectacular the likes we may never see again. Under the direction of SuperStar Director/Choreographers Rich and Tone - these 200 self-less VOLUNTEERS (read my lips - they did this for FREE)- all strangers at first - spent a mere week learning the moves and in turn, became a family united to help other families in need here in L.A., across America and around the world. The food donated and the money raised will benefit LAFoodBank, FeedingAmerica & Global Food Banking Network - and those in need of a decent meal may just have a brighter this holiday season and beyond due to the supreme efforts started at this event. Check out the website as the giving has only just begun and this campaign will continue for the next 90 days. http://sillywalksforhunger.com
